in draft survey calculation cargo quantities are calculated base on the changes of ships draft marks between different stages in the loading or discharging process by using the draught and hydrostatic property table on board the ship.
we use international recognized methods and modern equipment for measuring the necessary variables for an accurate outcome.
Ullage Survey
Adak ocean surveyors can conduct this jobs for customers to check amount of liquid cargo such as crude oil, petroleum products, chemicals and similar loaded or discharged on tanker ships by Ullage survey method . In short, it is a weight determination method. This technique is based on measuring the empty space above the load in the tanks and making some static calculations. In this way, the weight of the cargo carried by the ship is found.
Sampling of Goods
Adak Ocean surveyors can carry out sampling of goods to ensure quality, according to international standards for all goods in the field of agriculture, mineral and petroleum and petrochemical materials. This inspection and sampling is done according to the customer’s request before loading or after discharging and during discharging or loading. The samples taken are analyzed according to the customer’s request and the report is sent, and these samples are also sealed and kept by this company.
ON / OFF HIRE
The remaining bunker surveying used for ON-Hire Or OFF-Hire of ship in delivery namely , quantity Remaining on board Bunker (ROB) and quantity Delivery On Board (BDN). For delivery of marine ship On-Hire an Re-delivery of motor vessel Off-Hire purposes to certify quantity and weght of Bunker (Fo , Do , Lo) paid from charterer to ship owner for 03 parties . 02 parties . The Surveyor checks vessel’s consumption, as per perusal of engine log book and chartering details, to establish the amount of bunkers remaining on board at Delivery/Redelivery time.
Ships Hold / Tank Cleanlines Inspection
Adak Ocean surveyors can perform cleaning monitoring services including detailed reporting of the condition of warehouses, tanks and, if necessary, the condition of its cover. Our company also checks the appropriateness of cleaning methods, the presence of residues, foreign odors and any contamination.
In order to determine whether the ship’s hold/tanks are in good condition to receive the desired cargo or not, the ship’s cargo hold/tanks are inspected by one of our experienced through methods such as wall wash test and visual inspection.
